The day Prakriti was born...

My days in the mountains were uncomplete in this blog, and today from the humid and rainy forest in malaysia (beautiful), uploading my pictures in picasa i remembered something that i want to record in these words. My name.
In the car, the days i lived as a local... rafting, zoaling and almost-paragliding in Manali and Kullu valleys, with two sibblings and their friends, with music at loud as it gets, in the car, among mountains that remind our bolivian Yungas, with snow and flowers all at once... we went to by a new stereo for the car, and there was where Prashant said..."you should have an indian name", and after two choices (that i dont even remember) he found it. Prakriti, sanskrit word -used in hindi- that means nature... because of the way i am and what i love.
I am completely in love of the name!, besides its hard pronuntiation (although seems to be easier to pronounce than flavia for some people there), is just different...
Prakriti was born in the mountains, like me, breathing pure air and drinking water from the pipe... cause it comes straight from the melting ice... the day Prakriti was born, for one hundred and more reasons, my idea of living in India, with its traditions, religions, casts and social/family interactions, changed. It is different, yes, but that is not necessarly wrong.
I guess this girl is now traveling with me, learning a bit more from different people, but she is with me... and will stay here.
